This smudge fan is handmade and one of a kind. It is called the desert mirage because of its tans and oranges, with the center peacock feather glistening just like water in the desert. The handle is made from a cholla cactus skeleton that I found in the desert near Joshua tree. This handle holds the power of the desert and invokes adaptation and strength. The cholla cactus is associated with new beginnings and breaking unwanted patterns of the past.
